This is a little late, a lot has been happening. From late night worship to just hanging out with my squad. We had our squad church on sunday for sabbath and it was very peaceful. We had a scenario where one group of us had to do a kids lesson while the rest of us acted like kids and had to distract them. It was really silly but it will be very helpful when we’re on the field since the kids are not always going to be on there best behavior. Then we had squad wars with all the other squads which was super fun. Then later that night a lot of people on my squad got baptized and it was the sweetest thing ever. The worship after was so amazing there was so much joy around.

The next day we evangelized and I was with my friend abby. At first I was really nervous and didn’t want to talk to anyone, but after we spoke to a few people, we felt more confident. There was this one guy who just really needed someone to talk to and we were with him for around an hour and got to pray for him and encourage him. Then the next guy we found was homeless and he had the sweetest soul. We ended up talking to him for around an hour too, we got to hear his life story and pray for him as well. I wish we got more time with him he was the kindest old man. I ended up giving him my hydro flask because he didn’t have a water bottle and he was so thankful and gave me and abby hugs. It was just a really sweet moment I wanted to share, the holy spirit was trying to get him that day, because right after that another group of our team mates went and talked to him for another hour after we left. You never know the impact you have on people because he ended up being so thankful we all talked to him and didn’t just walk by him because he was homeless.

We finally got to go out into civilization; walmart  which was super nice to just go out.

Then one of the nights we were doing our dishes and it was raining and we started singing and dancing. It was so sweet and we went trash bagging down the hill and then played football. I love my squad.

The next day we saw a double rainbow and then we hiked yonah mountain which was the hardest hike i’ve ever done. It was super muggy but when we finally made it to the top it was beautiful. We all sat and watched the sunrise for hours just admiring Gods creation.
We had a day full of worship and sessions when we hiked back down. I went into it super tired and not wanting to be there because I was sick. But I got prayed over by one of my teammates for my anxiety to go away and I felt so much lighter and free. Then right after that me and my friend cimmie watched the stars and was admiring Gods creation and saw a shooting star. It was an amazing night.

We go to north carolina on monday for domestic ministry for a week so if you could pray for my team and I for it to go well and for sickness to go away.
Thanks 🫶

  1. I’m sorry you aren’t feeling great. I know how it feels when there’s so much you want to get done & participate, but your body has other plans. I will say a prayer for you tonight that it passes before sunrise. And remember, plenty of water!
I love that you have this amazing opportunity to experience places most of us have never thought of… what a gift!
